"Amani" means Peace in Swahili, and Peace is what we strive to provide to practitioners who have dedicated their careers to supporting others.

For us, bringing about Peace is a four-fold approach:

Compassion for our practitioners and the immense amount of effort they put forth for their clients.

Compassion for our practitioners' clients knowing that they have taken the step to pursue care.

Communicating honestly and openly with our practitioners in order to build trust and a healthy working relationship.

Coordination

Coordinating those certain business activities so our practitioners don't have to.

Meet Allison

Founder & Team Lead

Hi, my name is Allison, and I am the founder of Amani Coordination.

I'm born and raised in beautiful BC which is home to the perfect mix of coastal-, city-, mountain- and wildlife- living.

My educational background is in human services, social sciences, and business administration.

Along with my love for BC, I have been fortunate to travel abroad and experience different cultures as many of my family members have resided in Germany, Kenya, and Dubai.

During the year 2022, I had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside a dear friend who taught me all I know about being a virtual assistant. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am today.

Prior to pursuing the virtual assistant career, I had the transformative opportunity to work for two local non-profit organizations that taught me the importance of dedication and servant leadership.

Nowadays, when I'm not at work, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, and my golden pup Marvel.
